i would like to add to my prev answer that P.Q -RR does nto make any sense as we are trying to subtract completly differnt derieved
quantities
going with an example (a.s-v2) is permitted as they are like quantities but in  (Mg-v2) does not make sense and is wrong as we subtract quantities .We cannot subtract diff quantities.
cheers.....

i'll try to answer this .
             x+y=exy.................................(i)
diff wrt x on both sides we get,
        1+dy/dx=exy(xdy/dx+y)
dy/dx=(y.exy-1)/( 1-xexy )

FOR the tgt to be to ll to y axis
        lim ( 1-xexy )0
1=x.exy ......................................(ii)
by appr graph we get x=1 and y=0
or as x has to be greater than zero and  comparing (i) and (ii)
               we get x=1 and y=0.
just point out if any mistake if there are so which there are none.

actually john you have misunderstood my soln where you havent read that i marked the centre of circle as (x,4) and not(4,0).you may draw a rough diagram
which make the prob even simpler.I hope you have understood what i am trying to tell.AND please dont point out anybody mistake unless you are sure.i hope you change the review on my soln.

I hope what Rashmi didi and i did are the same.Infact i explained the entire logic behind it.I would like u to comment on it.
                             thanx

really its simple.all u have to do is to add from 1 to 100.this gives u the answer.the key is as we know the power of x just one less than the highest power(degree) its coefficient will be the sum of the roots which here clearly is summing 1 to 100.i hope i am clear.

its radius is 4 and it touches the x axis ,so the centre become(x,4)
and further using the perpendicular distance from centre to line
will be 4 .therefore directly leading to answer (8,4) making use that
C lies in first quadrant.

i hope even i could share a bit of advice here.i am sorry if id dont deseve to.
When you are concentrating on the exam with so much determination and will
I would sugest to you that once you feel you have solved a decently good question try to review what you have done. You could also try creating good problems by yourself by not spending too much time though say for abt 30 min a day just to know how deep can u think in a concept.this is a good excersice and also u wont find anything TOTALLY in the exam.ALL THE BEST.

hi to everyone,
but i feel the solution given by vinu is correct and the mistake made by imagine_me2 is that he's considered the disc to rotate anticlockwise whereas
it rotates clockwise. The clue to solving the problem could be to consider that at the point of contact of the string and disc the acceleration and the velocity must be zero.
I totally agree with vinu;s solution.
I hope i am clear with what i explained.
