anna university chennai is a top ranked college right next to iits.

anna university tiruchirapalli and anna university coimbatore are recently established.

besides,there are a lot of colleges affiliated to these universities out of which,a few like PSG TECH,GCT,CIT,MIT,etc are top ranked and stellar institutions.

can u be a bit specific about your querry please?

u have to apply via tamil nadu engineering admissiond(tnea) conducted by anna university on behalf of tamil nadu govt.the forms are released arnd april- may.u have to get 99% in pcm combined for cse,and more than 95% for a good couse if u are a tamil nadu native.
u are not eligible for admission to psg if u arent a tamil nadu native,u are eligle only for other state quota seats in university departments of anna university.

electrical is good as now-a-days as in most colleges 75% syllabus of electronics engineering and electrical engineering is same.

and electronics has vast scope.

also nit jaipur is good.

only if ur absolutely sure and have a lot of belief of cracking jee next year then take a drop.
