Hi Friend
Sorry I was not around, so couldnt answer your question. I joined career point at that time but the situation is not the same right now with that institute. At my time we had very good teachers and now almost all are at different places.

I joined Career point but it is not doing good in JEE coaching these days. So better join something else. If you work well then 1 year is good enough for JEE.
Best of luck

Hi Sir Dont worry about 5 lac engineers .... There were a large number of engineers already there as they will be. So currently she should focus on studies rather than focusing on futuristic problems

Hi Sir,
Read my blogs, I have faced the same situation in my time. Tell her few things, first there is nothing which cant have a better alternatives. So even if she doesnt qualify in next attempt, that study will never go waste. Second, this is a fact that if you think about not getting selected you waste a lot of time in tension and then you waste more time in tension because you have wasted time. Its a vicious circle. So the bottom line is, fresh and tension free mind is the key to success. Just tell her to not to think about what will happen after a year, she cannot control that, she can just work hard to make the results better. I strongly suggest to read my blogs first here on goiit.
I am always here to help

Hi Friend
I think first you should read my blogs. I have written a lot about time tables and all there. Coaching are not necessary at all. So dont worry about them. Just have a faith in your abilities and keep going.

Hi Friend
To tell you very frankly, these days most of the coaching institutes are more or less same. They provide you with tonnes of study material, classes, boards, extra classes everything. Everybody claims that 7 questions or 10 questions came from there tests in JEE. Now, subjects are limited, so the formulas. So if you throw 1000 stones and 10 hit the cow, that doesnt push the envelope.
So you should consider the one who gives you time for self study, as well as that should be financially suitable for you. You should also consider the travel distance into account.
I went to Kota for couple of years. At that time there were only few options. But coaching is just a medium which will give you study packages, schedules studies and competitive environment. You should focus more and more on your learning.
First read my blogs. You will get more ideas.
Best of luck

Hi Friend
See, there is one thing for sure, IIT is a place to be in. Being an IITian will make an big impact on your life. So I think one year is a too small cost to pay for this dream. Believe me, I have done it. In my time I left ISM Dhanbaad seat and drop one more year so that I can get into B.tech from IIT.
Best of luck

Hi Friend
Do few things, first of all dont neglect any subject for one particular one. Try and read Sanyal & sanyal for organic mechanisms . Its a sweet and short book . For inorganic thing, use JD LEE but be selective on topics. Its a thick tome. There is no alternative.. you have re memorize inorganic.
Best of luck

Hi Friend
See, it hardly matters, whatever you have done .. is done. So by seeing the answer can prepare your mind for any good or bad and then can plan according. So better check the answers. :)

Hi Friend
This question has been asked many times in forums. You could have searched for it rather than waiting for 1-2 days to get answered. I still want that you search it. Even I have answered it many times, so you can see my posts and can get the answer

Hi Friend
Frankly, I have a lot to say for you answer, but I dont want to do that right now, once IIT results are out, goIIT will come with full fledge counseling campaign. In short, M.Tech has no additional advantages over B.Tech. And people do B.Tech because its 1 year lesser.
Best of luck

Hi Friend
This is a very common problem. Few ways you can improve yourself. First do repeat learning. Second, dont do anything verbally... every reaction or derivation, do everything in writing by understanding everystep.

Hi Friend
Dont think that you can finish up few topics in physics and you will be done .! IIT can ask anything anytime. So better prepare for everything. Cover theory from HC Verma, then read and understand a lot of solved examples, then finish HC Verma problems. After that you can try anything fancy.
Best of luck

Hi Friend
See it depends on your surroundings and conditions. Sometimes you dont get much time and environment to study for IIT with studies(which was my case).. so if you are determinant for IIT then it will help to get a year dropped as you will have no other studies to do and you can study IIT and IIT round the clock. So dont worry about dropping a year, IIT will make impact on your whole life so one year is a very less price to pay.
Best of luck

Hi Friend
Books, you can easily find in the posts I have answered earlier, I can tell you here also but seriously I want you to make some effort, so read my earlier posts and get all your queries answered. Read my blogs as well.
And I am sorry that we at goIIT never tell about any coaching institute in particular . Ask this thing to the community.
Cheers

Hi Friend
I tell the solution i followed. First cover theory from HC Verma, then read as many solved examples as you can, they will give you confidence and you will learn the problem solving techniques as well. Then you first cover all problems in HC verma one by one followed by arihant. After that if you want try anything fancy

Hi Friend
I think the best idea would be to stick on formulas/reactions and read and understand more and more solved problems. This will boost your confidence as well you wont be confused.
Believe me it will work.
Best of luck
