Take admission in any good engineering college. After graduation appear for CAT, do MBA from good institute; and you will be nearer to where your batchmates who graduated from IIT.
GRE,GATE options are also open after your basic degree, and if you score well you can go to good universities abroad.
So dont wory, study well in whatever course you take admission.

If you are interested in doing M.Sc. Physics, join any good college for B.Sc. degree. IIC & IIT's conduct entrance exam for M.Sc. programme, which you can appear and join. They have integrated Ph.D programmes also which you can join through entrance exam. You can prepare in three years of graduation for these exams. and join these institutes.
If you want to repeat, all the coaching institutes u mentioned are good. Individual eforts are more important than the institute. Contribution by the coaching classes is only 30%, rest is your effort. We can show you the path but you have to walk on your own till the goal is reached.
Even if you decide to repeat, my advice will be join B.Sc degree course, simultaneously prepare for exam, and in unforseen events if you are able to make it it IIT , the first option of MSc remains without losing presious year.
Best wishes.

If u are repeating, u must be having all the material.
Fitjee, Narayana are good U have to work hard, special care about negative marking has to be taken. u should not lose marks earned in negative marking. Think after every test where u went wrong, improve on that topic.
Here also u can get test series. Take teacher's help, for avoding negative marking.

If u have already attended classes u must be having study material with u.
NCERT books for fundamentals.
For chemistry-organic refer Arihant, Morison&Boyd with solution book; Finar vol.I. Lot of practice is necessary.
MTG'S PCMB Today gives various previous question papers, mock tests, difficulty level is good. Refer to these and study hard with emphasis on understanding.
 Best wishes.

It is always good to know the mechanism. We can understand a reaction properly thrrough the mechanism. Once u understand the reaction it becomes easier to attempt questions based on the reaction.Sometimes question based on reaction mechanism have also appeared. So don't neglect mechanism, try to understand them.

You are absolutely right. Take admission in whatever course you get of your choice and then work hard you will succeed. There are so many avenues open after graduation. Even u can think of civil service exam.

Don't get dishartened. Decide what u want to do? BArch / BE/ Btech.
You will get admission in some institute. Study hard get the degree in first class first attempt. Then new avenues will open.
I know so many now at the top who could not get admission in IIT's, NIT's or for that matter the course of their choice. But  by hard work the are at the top and their friends who got admission are behind.Whatever field u select, put on efforts to rise to the top. Best wishes are with you.

We can't rate any institute as no. one. It is the students who make the insitute number one. How many students from that institute have got admission in IIT in past?
Taking admission in any good institute will only not help. One has to study hard.
Fitjee, Narayana study materials are good. Even on this site too i have seen good material.

Correspondence course for plus II (XII) , without joining any college is not possible. For practicals u have to join college.
For study material you can join this site itself, good study material is available. For Narayana course material ad was there on this site.
Why don't u join engineering college after ur diploma? In our area direct admission to IInd year is given. You can get good institute, do ur engineering. I know many students who did diploma and then directly joined degree course, now well settled in good companies.

The rules for admission to IIT's are ever changing. They may put restrictions on attempts.
If you can get admission in good institute in your own region take admission, and study hard. After your BE/Btech u can do MBA from any good college for that u can start preparing right now. Do not consider that only IITian is at the top. My friend from ur region is now Professor in US. So what is important is how u prepare yourself. My advice is please do not waste precious years only in preparing for JEE. Best wishes.

Do u mean books for IIT JEE, AIEEE?
Follow NCERT books for all three subjects.
For Organic chemistry use Arihant, Morison & Boyd, Finar vol I.
MTG publication PCMB Today is good for practice as u get question papers for almost every exam.

If your son is getting admission in VNIT Nagpur, take admission.
Preparing for IIT JEE again after taking admission in any Engineering college will be difficult. He will have to attend the college, and going to various classes for first year course, so he will be left with very less time for preparation. If you are determined to repeat, take admission for B.Sc. in any college, and study for exam. With JEE preparation he can easily appear for BSC I exam.

If you are confident that your concepts are clear, then lot of practice is required. Attempt mock tests, analyse u r result, where it went wrong. Negative marking lowers our score, so one has to careful about negative marking, u should not lose marks.
Of the three subjects chemistry is considered as easiest followed by physics and mathematics is tough. So top rankers are bound to score 100% in chemistry. Take care that u too score same in chemistry.
Questions in organic chemistry are more reaction based, for this use Finar vol I.
MTG publications PCMB today gives question papers from all over India. Attempt questions from these. Practice makes one perfect, so practice a lot.Time management u can learn with practice. Work hard, experts are always there to guide u, but u have to walk on the road of success.

CBSE XI & XII books for ChemistryNCERT books are available, or you can see whether the book is approved by NCERT.
Then follow Arihant for Organic Chemistry, simultaneously use Morrison& Boyd and Finar Vol.I for organic chemistry. If you throughly go through these books, there is no need of going to other books as far as Organic chemistry is considered. Lot of practice is required for Organic. Study hard. Best wishes.

The rings containing five or less carbon atoms are either planar or nearly planar, but those of six and more carbon atoms are essentially non-planar or puckered. As a result, each carbon atom retains its normal tetrahedral angle and there is negligible or no strain in the molecule
The stability of the rings is determined from the heat of combustions. For cyclohexane the heat of combustion is 657.9 same as that for n-alkanes, hence is more stable. Rings containing 7-11 carbon atoms are almost as stable as cyclopentane since they have the same value for heat of combustion per CH2 group(663.4-662.1).The heats of combustion per CH2 group of cyclohexane and rings containg 12 or more carbon atoms are about the same(658.8-657.1) as that of alkane. Hence cyclohexane and rings containg 12 or more carbon atoms are as stable as n-alkanes.

1.The decreasing order of dipole moment with their values is
CH3Cl(1.94)>CH2Cl2(1.60)>CHCl3(1.03)>CCl4(0.0)

2. 2-BUTANOL is optically active due to presence of chiral carbon atom
the four groups attached to carbon are CH3,H,OH,CH2CH3.

CH3CH2CHCl2     ®  CH3CH2CHO   +   CH3CºCH
A                                   B                              C
( by dehydrohalogenation, gem.dihalides undergo dehydrohalogenation with alcoholic.KOH or NaNH2)
 CH3CH2CHO   + [O] ® CH3CH2COOH
B
CH3CºCH   on reaction with H2SO4/Hg2+ will give CH3COCH3 which can react with Br2/NaOH  will give sodium salt of acetic acid.

From the other options given compound (ii) will give a ketone on reaction with alkali which on oxidation will give carboxylic acid with less number of carbon atoms.
Compounds (iii) & (iv) would give glycol on reaction with alkali, the mol.formula will not be same as given in the problem, hence ruled out.
Considering the reactions A should be the correct answer. I think your doubt about the formation of alkyne is answered. For the formation of (B) also two moles of alkali would be required.

1.Acetylene is H-CºC-H; Propyne is CH3- CºC-H

2. 2-Pheny ethylchloride would undergo SN1 reaction with racemisation and partial invertion. It cannot undergo SN2 as the back side attack is prevented by bulky group. During the attack of nucleophile on the carbocation in SN1  reaction,  will lead to racemisation, nucleophile attacking from either side. At the same time due to bulky nature of the carbocation the nucleophile attacks the carbocation before the leaving group has moved sufficiently away, thus leading to some inversion.

First understand basics from NCERT book. Then go for Arihant. Then go for Morison as well as Finnar vol. I, Morison will help in concepts and Finar will help in understanding the reactions.
Do not get confused with lot of advice from friends, all books deal with same organic chemistry derived from Finar.
