yes the last line of bhuvana89 's answer is quite important. current flow doesnt mean electrons have to travel a certain distance, they just have to be moving.

correct astronautameya.
horizontal velocity acquired by the ball is same as that of train. thus relative displacement along horizontal direction is 0 the only displacement is in the vertical direction. ie. up and down. so ball thrown up comes back down to the hand of the person..the distance actually travelled by the ball is equal to that travelled by the man hence relatively its just simple vertical motion

in long jump, u want the maximum distance to be covered. in terms of projectile motion, that is the range,,
range depends on the horizontal component of velocity
range = Ux X t where Ux is the horizontal velocity ( which does not change during projectile motion in XY plane)
if horizontal velocity is max. distance covered will be max
therefore they run a certain distance to gain a suitable velocity , and thus inertia, and this inertia propels his jump in the horizontal direction.

for 1 ) ... use spherical shell , as all charge collects on outer surface thus no electric field is present inside the shell

for 2 ) at point at distance r from one of the charges (A), electric field is 0.

so kQb/ (r+d)sq + kQa/ (r)sq. = 0
for sum to be zero, first of all Qa and Qb must have opp. sign else they wont cancel.
secondly, denominator of Qa ie. r square is smaller than that of Qb which is (r+d) square.
so to make the two terms of equal magnitude , mag. of Qa must be less than mag. of Qb.

so the two conditions are
1) Qa.< 0, Qb > 0
2) | Qa| < | Qb |

I = dq / dt
dq is small amount of charge flowed through conductor through some time t.
now if more electrons flow together the charge will be more, even if the drift velocity is very small.
that is why current of different values is obtained.

momentum increases much more when falling from higher height as time of free fall is greater

in case of collisions, dont consider the force as the main factor,,, it is the momentum... mv . and as 10th floor is much higher therefore velocity increases much more than that if u fell from 2nd floor thus momentum is greater upon hitting the ground and hence higher impact

oh my god @joy... wht has happened to u ... were given that f(x) value is repeated when we substitute x by (- x + 9)
sin also has the same thing
x gives same as x+2pi
