optical rotation is decided by the interaction of molecules and on a still smaller level electrons that create an electromagnetic field which interact with the light which is itself an electromagnetic wave..................temperature changes the average kinetic energy of molecules thus changing the way they inteact with the ppl.............thus bringing a change in optical activity
