A particle having electric charge and mass moves in an electric field. If it starts from rest, does it always move along the field line that passes through its starting point? Explain...

on 2nd thoughts, i heard that NIT-Surat is within the city limits. So i guess, u could follow tehelka's advice and find accommodation just outside the campus.

^hey, sorry dude. i know its not ur fault, but thats the reality. even i didnt know much about it, till i heard it from a guy in NIT-T. guess, theres no other way than to accept it....

^^check ur statement. more EN difference b/n Mg-X not C-Mg. ie, less polar bond breaks.

@threadstarter - after reading some other threads, i realised one more point: BITS doesnt have reservations. So if ur ready for more competition and want to be the best among the best, you should consider this too, before deciding.

@ankit - i would like to make it clear that i was not trying to make fun of you. and if u didnt have any malicious intentions, then i am extremely sorry for falsely accusing you. (guess u already paid me back, by accusing me of some things)
In my defense i will again say that though NIT Suratkal may be slightly more reputed than BITS-Goa at present, the guy got EnI at Goa (cutoffs indicate EnI, to be preferable over Mech). So wouldnt BITS be better for him? Infrastructure & Facilities at BITS-Goa should be better than NIT-Suratkal.
So, obviously when i read ur post in this thread as well as the other, I reacted the way i did....
best of luck for ur own admissions...

@ankit - do u know any word other than the word 'shit'???
ur saying, suratkal is better than BITS-goa at the moment, because BITS-goa has come up only a few years ago....then why would you want to go to the lowest branch at BITS-hyd??? (not only has BITS-hyd started only this year, but also you would prefer to wait for the lowest branches there)
Obviously, you consider BITS to be a big brand name.
Clearly the logic ur applying to urself and that u have posted in this thread do not match......... and you say, i have a 'SHIT' mind for pointing that out. LOL.

^^LOL, werent u the guy who, wanted to get a seat in BITS??? And now ur telling the thread starter not to go to BITS. Sounds fishy to me.....

^^LOL. IITJEE portion may have fewer chapters, but each chapter has a depth of 1.5 to 2 times of what is reqd for AIEEE.
So if u put same effort for AIEEE alone, results would be better because you can complete the portion earlier. For JEE completing whole portion in time is itself a mighty task....
And remember, there are atleast 30-40% easy questions, to solve all of these its imp to complete the portion. Solving the more difficult ques requires that ur fundamentals are strong.

3lac annual fee is impossible. must be 3lac for 4 years.... which is only slightly higher than BITM. (around 2.8lac for 4 years)

ok, thanks. one more doubt: i read that we have to submit Leaving Certificate to the board, only then they issue Migration Certificate. Is this true?
