in the case CR circuits the time constant is found out by first short circuiting the battery. should we just remove the capacitor and the battery proceed. this concept is given in arihant . electricity and magnetism pg 214. after that attempt question 6 of the introductory exercise 22.3. the method doesn't work here? pls help
