 quantum means, discrete , not contineous..

for example :;

suppose u have $100.

if u spend it all in one time , then this process is

called as classical way..

but, if u spend it in step of only $10 in each time , then, this process is called quantised way..

smallest possible value is called , one quantum..

 pure water is insulator, as it contain equimolar concentration of H+ & 0H- ions..

general water contains many impurities such as carbonates , bicarbonates , sulphates , halides ... of metals , that are present in ionised state & these ion actually responsible for conducting of current & hence , water becomes conductor..

 in advance physics, current is defined as < FLUX of CURRENT DENSITY >. hence, current.........without any doubt.......is SCALAR..

 current is defined as < FLUX of CURRENT DENSITY > , hence, current is a "SCALAR" quantity..

suppose a body is already rotating with some angular velocity.

in order to make it roll {pure-rolling} , there must be a force to support the 'translational motion' of body.

that force here in this case is , "friction" . < and it acts in the direction of motion of body >.
