question is correct or not??????

use that method of finding areas of triangle and adding them
it is always covenient to plot the points on the cartesian plane..because one may find that one of the angles of the quadrilateral may be 90 degree..so this will reduce ur work and u || be required to find the area of one triangle using that det formula...as such such types of direct questions are not asked..

yes the ans is AP..its pretty simple
see ....clearly 1 is the root of this eqnt ..hence other root must also be one (1) ..as the roots are equal...now this implies product of roots is also 1...now use this to get the result....AP is correct

B = V/2 * d * g
where V = volume d = density of water g = u know :D ...10m/s^2
