Yes you can but keeping in view the present trend its not advisable , Though you can take any correspondence course and can prepare at home.

Make a proper study schedule for your studies as long as You are completing your schedule and scoring well in exams the study time you are putting is enough. There is no time boundation or rule how much time one should spent.

You are on right track make sure you are scoring extreamly well in Test series DO NOT compare your self with your class fellows if you are topping there its certainly doesnt gurantee Your selection but scoring atleast 80 percent marks in the test series will surly put in safer side .

The MCA entrance of IIT Roorkee requires mathematics , Computer awareness as well as analytical ability . You have to prepare for all three individually for mathematics you can take up any objective book on Mathematics for entrances after graduation for any Indian University. for computer awareness you can take up books by NCERT  at the 10+2 level.

Understanding mathematics is basically solving , Solve as many problems as you can as far as book on algebra is concerned Hall knight is good reference book , But you have to solve on your own .

I wish i could have contributed to the list , but I dont read fictions . As far as non-fictions is concerned this books Black holes and baby universes is a book that left me absolutly baffled , The diary of ANN frank is also a book for the Humanity . Freedom at midnight is also a book every book worm should read.

Chemistry Olympiad is a four step process the first being the National standard Examination , second the Indian national Chemistry olympiad , thirs is the orientaion camp cum selection for international olympiad the final is International chemistry olympiad .

      Your preparation should be for the regional chemistry olympiad , the syllabus of which is almost same as that of CBSE and exampattern is  is objective.

A crasg course in AIEEE polishes up your learned topics in last two years I would suggest take up any coaching    ( Older is better ) But make sure to complete at least three topics from all three PCM before the classes starts. and appear for as many tests as possible.
