KMnOreacts with oxalic acid according to the equation 2MnO4- + 5C2O42- + 16H------>2Mn2+ =10CO2 + 8H2O. Here 20 ml of 0.1M KMnO4 is equivalent to

A)50 ml of 0.5 M C2H2O4

B)20 ml of 0.1 M C2H2O4

C)20 ml of 0.5 M C2H2O4

D)50 ml of 0.1 M C2H2O4

I agree my  answer is wrong but then y is it that global warming is resulting in the rise of water level by melting of polar ice caps?

Li+ being the smallest among alkali metals will attract the anionic charge cloud the most resulting in greater distortion of anion which further leads to covalent character due to increased tendency of electron sharing rather than complete transfer of electrons

According 2 Fajan's rule...............When two oppositely charged ions approach each other closely, the positively charged cation attracts the outermost electrons of the anions and repels its positively charged nucleus. This results in the distortion or polarization of the anion following some sharing of electrons between the two ions, i.e., the bond becomes partly covalent in character.

that is greater the distortion of anion greater is the covalent character

Li+ being the smallest among alkali metals will attract the anionic charge cloud the most resulting in greater distortion of anion which further leads to covalent character

every1 is aware of the fact that global warming is a threat to our planet as it is resulting in the melting of polar ice caps. which is further causing rise in level of water in oceans. it is the reason that coastal regions r in danger of getting submerged. according 2 above criteria, when ice melts it results in rise of water level.

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Organic Chemistry -> What is piezoelectric effect? -> Go to message

an excerpt from net

 piezoelectric  effect is understood as the linear electromechanical interaction between the mechanical and the electrical state in crystalline materials with no inversion symmetry. The piezoelectric effect is a reversible process in that materials exhibiting the direct piezoelectric effect (the internal generation of electrical charge resulting from an applied mechanical force) also exhibit the reverse piezoelectric effect (the internal generation of a mechanical strain resulting from an applied electrical field).

Piezoelectricity  is the charge that accumulates in certain solid materials (notably crystals, certain ceramics, and biological matter such as bone, DNA and various proteins) in response to applied mechanical stress. The word piezoelectricity means electricity resulting from pressure.

if error in measurement of momentum of particle is 2%, then error in measurement of kinetic energy wud hav been

if i apply the same expression 4 the given question then

MY ANSWER IS WRONG but i cant get wat is the problem with the solution

plz rectify it
