I am in 9th std (only 2 months are left to go to 10th).I get 80-85% in every exam and scoe abot 85-95% in science.and 80-85% in maths.I have also cleared Homi-bhabha theory exam n was selected for practicals but was not selected for the next round.Do u think that if I try I would be able to go through IIT and would be selected?I also wanted to know of the colleges and coaching classes which would be helpful for me!

and if anyone could tell me the difference between IIT and JEE b'coz when i read through the articles posted by other members in which some mention about IIT while some mention about JEE.

I WANT TO ATTEND THE AERONUTICS PROGRAM WHICH IS GOING TO BE HELD AT IIT,MUMBAI ON 5TH-6TH OF OCTOBER.I ACTUALLY WANT TO MEET SUNITA WILLIAMS WHO IS GOING TO VISIT IIT ON 6TH TO ATTEND THE PROGRAM.I AM ONLY A 9TH STANDARD STUDENT AND I WANT TO ATTEND THIS PROGRAM. HOW DO I GET A PERMIT IN IIT ON THESE DAYS????PLZZZ HELP ME. I AM REALLY DETERMINED TO ATTEND THE PROGRAM AS WELL AS MEET SUNITA WILLIAMS .

But I have heard that one should start early preparations for examinations such as IIT. Also I wanna know that Is IIT selection completely based on its entrance what we give or are our 12th grade maks also taked into account?
