What do u mean by longterm coaching .......... every institute provide for 2year's and this are necessary for doing fullflashed preparation of jee ........ & the best are BANSAL , RESONANCE , VIDYA MANDIR....... of KOTA...... or FIITJEE of DELHI..........

If u wann that u must be called an iitian then u can drop but my view is that u must not drop ............ b'coz nit trichy is good man.... u must go their ........ aek bar badiya % sai pass out hone ya fir apni branch sai TOP karne kai baad main u can get equivalent salary as an iitian get.......... & NIT -Trichy is the best nit.... so, !!!!!!!!!! The best institutes for correspondance course are - BANSAL , RESONANCE & also SUCCESS MAGNET of CARRER POINT...... so, 1st of all u must contact them and ask them about the courses and the material which they provide for distance learning student's........ & then u can it by post & also can join their test series....... !!!!!!!!! CS at IIT -Guwa.. will be best b'coz after passing out from their u'll be called an iitian ....... woh..!!! and this will give u joy...... actually Apoorva i just want to say ki dear tum kisi bhi iit se yadi badiya % sai pass out hoge tho it doesn't matter's ki which iit it was so, better option is guwa.. yar it-bhu wale koi iitian ka jacket nahi dege ........ it-bhu sai tho sirf b.tech hi khalaoge..... so, !!!!!!!! if ur parent's are ready to sent u outside then the best option is going Kota rather than orissa or jharkhand........ & u can join Bansal or Resonance , vidya mandir ........ but if they are not ready then join the correspondance course of any one of them & they will also send u the course material........ & if u want to go finally orissa or jharkhand then join the branch of allen, resonance carrer point or the institute which is their ........ so, !!!!!!! IIT Kharakpur is good & here u can change ur branch even in 2 and 3rd year also........ it's only iit in which u can change ur branch in 2-3rd yr other iit's u can change only in 1st yr............. so, !!!!!!! GOOD-LUCK !!!!! for bright future .......

Apoorva I think being iitian is the dream of everyone & mech is good it's the branch jiska escope kabhi khatm nahi hoga ................ so, dear 1st prefer mech from Roorkee then go for CS from BHU ............. !!!!!!!!!!! BEST OF LUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, state govt. college's doesn't give admissions on the basis of EML ........... the student's getting eml doesn't get admissions in iit colleges rather they get admissions in IIST & IISER from which u can become a scientist or go in some research field. actually in this u have to go only in 1-2 field's ..
