There is a rule that if the electronegativity difference between two atoms is more than 1.7 then there will be polarity in the bond i.e ionic character will be present according to Fajan's rule. But the electronegativity difference between H and Cl in HCl is 1.4. so how do we explain this phenomenon?

Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How is hydrogen bonding related to surface tension? The hydrogen bonding of HF is the maximum due to high electronegativity difference but do we see any changes in the surface tension .If we see it what would be it and if not, why?

Hi I didnt understand the last step if Mw 2R = k/R n , then how is T 2 R 3

Hi Keplar's third law states that T2=R3 then prove that it is applicable for any inverse force i.e for any Rn.

Hi
It consists of good questions of higher level and to study for it first of all u should have ur basics clear. it has 100 questions with no negative marking.there are 40 questions from maths , 25 chemistry,
25 physics and 10 general knowledge questions.
but the standard of this exam is very good and getting selected i.e getting rank below 100 is prestigious. there is a question bank available or u can refer BMA books.
BEST OF LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi yogi,
I will suggest Career point classes in aurangabad as the faculty is very good there and i find it a good class because i had gone there to get the prospectus but i am not there as i am in nashik.

Hi
As u have so many books and as u have studied so vastly, i suggest to go for jee.But while u r studying for jee, donot forget bits and aieee.while u study for jee, first do the aieee and bits questions qnd then go for the tougher ones. all the best

hi!
actually there are two resonating structures of benzene which are unstable so they keep interchanging from one to another . for our convenience, we show them together and thats the reason why we show a ring inside the molecule of benzene .

Van der waal's forces are the attractional forces between the molecules of a substance and they are lowest in gases and highest in solids.

suppose two balls of masses m1 and m2 collide elastically in 2D.The initial velocities are u1 and u2 (u1 u2) in the same direction and after collision, velocity of 1st ball is v1. given that after collision, the balls move in perpendicular directions.v2=? (v2 is the velocity of other ball). e 1 and lies between 0 and 1. how will we take the components of the velocities as cos90=0?
