Now I think

In Safari, (the browser i use) mozilla n all. usin ctrl+c copies the smileys html code:w:w

whereas a rt clic n copy copies it as an image.:w:w

the former is why an auto html link is created while the latter is not useful

The function can be written as
2^|tanx|+2^|cotx|
Now
replace x by pi/2 +x
2^|-cotx|+2^|-tanx|=2^|tanx|+2^|cotx|=f(x)
u get
 f(pi/2+x)=f(x)
so the function has period pi/2

ans is 3c
as karthik said
2c and 4c are in parallel so c eff for dem is 6c
now d 2 6c s are in series,

its of d form e^t=1-t
lhs is an increasing function
rhs is a decreasing function
clearly only one real root is possible
and thats at t=0

-1.
the summation includes  the roots of the eqn z^9=1 all but for 1 itself.
sum of roots=0
so gvn sum =-1.

i think u meant cos-1x+cos-1y+cos-1z=3pi
simple
range of cos-1  is [0,pi]
so each x=y=z=-1
now d remaining is obv.
