SO2 + C --------->CO2+S

ie 1 mole of so2 gives 1 mole of CO2
===>moles of CO2 produced =2.34
===> no of molecules of CO2 =14.09382*10^23
moles of left over SO2 = 3-2.34 =.66
===> no of molecules ofSO2 =3.97518*10^23
tot no of gaseous molecules = 18.069*10^23

very simple
balance the eqn first
ex
2 NaOH +H2SO4 ---------> Na2SO4 + 2H2O

now 2 moles of naoh reacts with a mole of h2so4 to give a mole of na2so4 & 2 moles of h2o

i think components are magnitudes of the original vector in specified directions and it is wrong to talk abt component of a component
