A space shuttle is filled with Neon Gas at 1.00 atm and 290 K. The gas effuses through a pinhole in outer space at such a rate that the pressure drops by 0.30 torr/s .
(a)If the capsule were filled with ammonia at the same temperature and pressure, what would be the rate of pressure drop?
(b)If the capsule were filled with 30.0mol%HELIUM, 20 mol% OXYGEN and 50.0mol% Nitrogen at a total pressure of 1.00 atm and a temperature of 290 K what would be the corresponding rate of pressure drop?

The percentage ionic character of a compound AB is 20. Its dipole moment in 1.2 D . The bond length in metres is:

(a) 1.2  * 10-10     (b)1.25 * 10 -8   (c)25 * 1010  (d)  2*10-10

Name a physical quantity which means Resistivity to change
Catalogs Discussion Forums -> General Physics -> the minute hand of clock is 10cm long . calculate linear speed of its tip. -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]
r = 10 cm

the minute hand sweeps 6 degrees in 1 minute

i.e in 60 sec. it sweeps 6/180 rad

so in 1 second it sweeps  6/(180 *60)

 = /1800 rad/sec

v = r

therefore

v = 10 *  (/1800)

v =  /180 cm/s

[u2sin2 ]  / 2g  is the formula for finding maximum ht reached by the projectile..

3m ht is not the max ht reached by projectile.. it has still more ht to reach..

the 3 m high wall may be present higher or lower than the max ht reached by the projectile..

i think in this case 3m is less than the max ht..

then how to solve??
