| BITSAT score Analysis: | 2006 | 2005 | | No of Candidates with score >= 400: | 155 | 52 | | No of Candidates with score >= 350: | 1241 | 575 | | No of Candidates with score >= 300: | 4715 | 2356 | | No of Candidates with score >= 250: | 11696 | 6543 | | | | | | Cut-off BITSAT score for admission | 283 | 245 | look at the difference between no. scoring above 350 and 300.....this time this is likely to fall .....smwhr between tht in 2006 and 2005 .....the endmark is almost around the score of 6000th candidate....so the cutoff is likely tobe the score of 6000th candidate....so its likely to be around 280..

my aieee rank is 15875....will i get metallurgy or production in pec.I can also get metallurgical in shibpur university on basis of wbjee rank 2947.....which 1 is better pec or shibpur.....i have also got 308 rank in cusat ...i will get com.sc. or ECE thr......what shd i choose??.....is cusat a better option???

i have got following ranks aieee 15,875 wbjee 2,947 cusat 308 wht can i get in aieee????.....in wbjee i can get mettalurgical or mining (according to previous yr cutoff).....and i have no idea about cochin......can u pls tell me abt cochin university,its infrastructure???......whr should i join.??? truly speaking i want to take up com. sc. ......pls help!!!!

hey rajat......iam frm jamshedpur.....i have been to bit ranchi.. is really a good college.....ranchi is a nice city.....actaully is the capital city ......it improving day by day.......and abt the campus......it has good infrastructure.....but the hostel facility may disappoint u a bit......but iam telling u its much better than some other colleges.....placement is also very good.....................and the other college PEC at chndgr....is another very good college....and no need to mention abt the city.......its infrastructure is slightly better than BIT....... the academics is also comparable to tht in BIT.........so according to me if i was give a choice i would opt for PEC.....but ur no way a loser if u go to BIT......both r top rated colleges of india......only the city factor makes PEC attractive.....

i dont think i will get CS in nit jamshedpur ...infact accordint to previous yr closing ranks i wont get any respectable branch in any nit...iam from jamshedpur(jharkhand) state rank 748........but guys the pay scale they offer in cochin is not good enough
