u r correct that I prefer "DC Pandey" but this guy has made his concepts perfect and now he needs to put up some challenges to himself by solving some tough problems which can be cracked only with basics and crystal clear concepts.

thats why I have asked him to do it from "I.E.Irodov" as it provides a good level of questions to solve.

Its really very sad to say that Goiit has changed like hell in some past months ,I know that when I was new at goiit the level of discussion of problems was very good and the answers were equally good + study mattered more.

But now I feel that upgradation is nt what is needed at goiit ,whats required is upgradation of the level of thinking of memebers on this site.

I will say all fellow goiitians as @Admin has said.

"Its goiitians who can make this site change and its us who can create the difference"

So stop saying we will "QUIT"

cmon Himu yaar I know u r cool enuf to handle such stuff.

I may like to also conclude with "myself being sorry to once say that I lost the love for the site bcoz it had changed but now I have given another thought to this and I think 'We will change' ....wat say goiitians ? "

anyone may say that you must get into "Manipal"....manipal is a very good and somewhat I want to add that more better institute than "VIT".

So go for Manipal.

yes now thats what I believe should have been done long back.

Anyways I will be back on GoIIT from today itself after I complete my BITSAT exam today.so I will finally be active.

And I would like to add that please do not pick the very well known members at goiit as moderators instead I want you all to pick a moderator who can be on goiit say abt every possible hour coz i know many such people who keep coming online and do nothing but stare at their screens or I must say jus to be online for sake of being.

In that case,

Hello mate,

The score of 138 under PD category may just get you a rank
in the extended list for IITJEE-08.

But the cutoff for this years JEE will be approx. around 190
or 180+.

Sorry to say it to you friend but its really sad to say that

I dun think its possible to get even a rank in JEE with the

following topics you have mentioned.

Physics:

You have not done the whole of mechanics and mechanics is

the major component of physics paper in JEE.but you may

be able to clear the cut off (I Hope) if ur electricity and

magnetism is really good.

Maths:

Again its tough coz you have not done topics like Probability

,Permutations,small topics like Determinants,P&C r all very

important especially "functions".

Chemistry:

Still here u have some chance of getting say about 60+ on

162 because Organic has been done and enough of inorganic

has also been done.But dun u know anything in "Physical"

Anyways that was my thinking regarding rank.
