If u r too keen to go to IIT, do consider dropping but then with dis rank u can get a decent branch in IT-BHU and ISM Dhanbad which are just next to IITs. Again it depends on u, what u choose. The same for BITS. So u gotta choose between brand IIT (dropping a year) or a very good n reputed college.

So, only if u want IIT and only IIT, drop this yr. Otherwize u have other very good options open.

possibility of paper leakage is little. May be a Cooperation policy by the centre invigilators or something else. Even they may be genuine meritorius students...but then...it surely smells something fishy.

either it shows ders a real high concentration of brains in kota (2 out of 3 getting selected !!) or its a real issue....

there are a set of n points all joined to one another throught wires of resistance R. So, its a mess up of resistances but if u choose two points and apply pot diff between them, current will not flow between any other two points (because of symmetry). So, n-2 2R resistances and one R resistance are in parallel.
eq resistance = 2R/n

ya got d mistake...didn't consider other resistances...

Take any two points and any other point (say A, B n C)

AC n BC are in series contributing to a total of 2R. There will be (n-2) such points.

So, n-2 number of 2R resistance are in parallel as they are joining same two points.

so eq resistance = 2R/(n-2)

simply find dx/dt and dy/dt
dx/dy = (dx/dt)/(dy/dt)
