Sonia if you want you can make into IIT. Just start with basic books for theory, try some papers so that you know what kind of questions come in paper.Then finally practice lots of MCQs (Arihant is good)

Number of acidic hydrogen depends on the acid base reaction. Only reaction where i know ammonia as base is NH3 + M --> MNH2 + (1/2)H2 In this case number of acidic hydrogen is 1. While in princliple it can have 3 acidic hydrogen i do not know any reaction where it gives three hydrogen

Yes its a good branch with very good scope. As far as galgotia is concerned it is an OK type college. Not very good not very bad either. What are the other options available to you.
