Hey u all Intelligent IIT ASPIRANTS,

I m in class XI , I had started my prep for JEE in X th Vacations and then I joined a Coaching Institute. But due to National Science Exhibitions,....,poor faculty etc ,I feel the time in the classes have been a waste.I hope to resume my studies nad preparation in X th from the starting.Do u think that this can help my cause ??? Pls Help.Even after working Hard i m not able to convert my Potential into marks.Pls help.Is this time adequate.I wil be appearing for Jee in 09.

My doubt is that :
Temp of Sun: 6000C = 6273 K
Wavelength= ? const C = 2897
Using Weins Dispacement Law,
lambda= C/T = 428 nm = Visible Range
If T' = 2T, then
Lamba' = C/T' = 0.241nm = 241 picometre = Gamma region or Denser U.V. region .

Is this Method Correct and Single we hsve to choose a single option , which one does it have to be ?

the correct ans posted was option A.

I think the principle used was Weins Law , If the principle is correct the gamma rays have a smaller wavelength than U.V. rays ,then why not option D. ,since the product of wavelength and absolute temperatute is const.??????????
