Hey i found a short cut methot after going thru these ans see u can find the unit place by using the binomial expansion

by dividing with 10 suppose u get x

as hsbhatt sir has done then to find tens place just subtract from it the base nos 2 and 3 in 2^999 and 3^999 respectively ie x - 2 and x - 3 respectively what do u guys think

solve it by traditional method ie

first A will occour in dictionary so the the 2 nd letter will be A and the remaining 3 letetr will be selected in 3! = 6 ways now next again will ocour as they are in order hence ans is 6 is it not the easy method

will i tell u one thing i got 73 in chem 69 in phy , 3 maths and was not given any rank if i wld have got atleast 4 in maths then i wld have ebeen selected for counselling

u mean if i get 10 in maths if cut off becomes 3 then i am selected even tough i have got so poor marks in maths

hey u cant take a qns like this its physics i

t is given that sphere is given charge on its surface an insulator can never have charge on its surface

in a conductor , the position of cavity matters and it is zero only when cavity at middle i am sure of my ans

and its iit qns do u think u think they will ask a w\qns having explanation as u have given

let me help its true that a cavity inside a conductor has 0 E inside it but this is true when the cavity has all its surface at constant and same distance from the conductor in this case cavity is not in middle so the Electric force acting on each pont in cavity are diffrent as a result there will be net electric field inside cavity

dear ananth each subject merit list are taken na so if i get less marks in math will they select me

iit after 1 more days

i ma not confidence on maths as i am primarily a student preparing for medical bt also had been preparring maths

any i have recently come to know that in iit unlike othe exams average are not taken they take sepparate subjct meritlist

i ma fully confident on my phy & chem preparation bt i am weak in difficult iit level maths

so can any one tell me how mch percentage will i have to score in maths to be eligible to get through

those who had given jee last year are most welcome
