 simple concept with 2 mass pulley system.

acceleration=net pulling force /total mass.

e.g.

2 masses of mass 10 kg and 5 kg are attached to a pulley on either side then the acceleration of the blocks

= net pulling force /total mass.

=(100-50)N/15KG

=10/3 ms-2

 The foot of the perpendicular (h,k) from (x1,y1) to the line ax+by+c=0 is given by

(h-x1)/a=(k-y1)/b= -(ax1+by1+c)/(a2+b2)

 The image or reflection of the point (x1,y1) in the line ax+by+c=0 is (h,k) where

(h-x1)/a=(k-y1)/b= -2(ax1+by1+c)/(a2+b2)
