not taking any sides....but think of those who got good marks..it is quite possible that maybe the day re-exam happens they might be ill or something unfortunate happens...for example there was my friend who was quite capapble of selection in iit jee but during the exam he suffered from such severe headache that he could attempt only 6 questions in PAPER2 ..what if it happens with somebody who has got good marks??i just can't imagine his pain...

now put the values of r and t as α-β and α+β

This will be the chord of contact of the tangets from the ext point whose co-ordinates need to found.

write eqn of chord of contact at (x1y1) and compare with above eqn to get value of (x1y1)

So we hv to solve -cosx = sin22

OR cosx= - sin22

=> x = 112 And 248 (as cos is negative in only 2^ndand 3^rd quadrant)
