when O donates its l.p it acquires +ve charge.. if H is attached 2 O then the resulatant is unstable!!(bcoz Ois more electro-ve than H but gets+ve!!)

in phenoxide ion O has an enormous amt. of -ve charge ther4 it donates its l.p more freely........an hence mor stable.....

moreover, the canonical strucures of phenoxide ion are equivalent(unlike phenol)

if forward linear velocity, v is is equal 2 angular velocity, then point of contact must be at rest and friction force on it sud b 0(bcoz friction starts acting only when ther is an impending motion!)

its not actually the size of the group which determines migratory aptitude......

as clearly mentioned in NCERT, momentum is conserved during collision also. but how??suppose 1 of them is at rest and the other hit it with velocity v, then initial momentum is mv.....but at the instant of collision both r at rest.
