I am frm AP(open category) got aieee air 11967 and bits 265(waitin list)

I may get MSc's at BITS Hyd (very doubtful abt this too)

plz tell me the best option which i may get in top 5-6 NITS

Is it better to go for dual at BITS or for ANSWER to above qtn...................

Once again plz help me as i hav to decide whether to go for counselling or not.....

b pharm at hyd is sure but msc ur chances are little.........just browse bits admission website u ll know the particular dates

i think many of gooiitian's marks ma friends mine had increased by 4 marks............by this there is no use as competition will b same...........................

..With the abolition of state-wise quota from aieee the fate of

hundreds of nit aspirants would change...

As i was surfing on the web i heard everyone speaking that the cutoffs in aieee

would fall drastically this year and all you guys who were thinking of getting into

any one of the NIT would soon see their dreams turning on into a reality...

Here is what you can expect

aieee general ranks 00001-9000 :: top branches like cse,ece,eee in any nit,iiit

aieee general ranks 9000-18000 :: good branches like mech,manufacturing,(civil) etc

aieee general ranks 18000-20000 :: can expect civil at some nit..

aieee general ranks 20000-30000 :: you guys can very easily get into computers in top

notch private colleges like SASTRA,JAYPEE etc.

aieee general ranks 30000+ :: will get other branches like ece,it,eee at above coll.



Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information & Communication Technology :Around 12,000-14,000 AIR.



Jaypee Institute Of Information Technology, Noida :



CSE - About 31,000 , ECE- About 37,000, IT - About 40,000



Thapar University :



Punjab Quota : CSE - 9,000 , ECE - 7,500 , Mechanical - 13,000, ICE - 15000 , EEE - 17,500 , Civil - 23,000 , Chemical - 24,000 , BioTech - 21,000

The cutoffs given above are of first counseling.

It would definitely be foolish leaving NIT for M.Sc at BITS...

definitely take a NIT,IIIT if you are getting one...

About BITS,hyderabad i just wanna warn you that BITS " trademark" shouldn't be the only thing you care about ..REMEMBER that ITS the first year of your college and you

would be of the first batch The placements therefore will not be good enough as compared to other colleges and definitely there is a great deal of risc involved in all this.

also there wouldn't be any senior to inspire you and thats really important if you r thinking

of getting into any of the top management institutions...

The final comment is "GOTO AIEEE"
