CHI3 is almost non polar. so it is not able to dissolve in water (which is a polar solvent) easily. methanol is polar molecule, so it can dissolve in water very easily. Like Dissolves Like.

polar protic : solvents in which hydrogen is attached to a highly electronegative element. eg...ethanol, cs2 , water

polar aprotic solvent : solvents in which hydrogen is not attached ton electronegative element. eg... acetone, ccl4

An object can be treated as a point charge/mass if it's radii is extremely small compared to the distance between them.

newton's law is also applicable for point masses. we can apply law of gravitation for planets as their radii are extremely small compared to the distance between them. the same applies to point charges.

2 nitrophenol > 4 nitrophenol > 2,4 nitrophenol > 2-nitrophenol

more no. of -I gps, more the acidity.

3,5 dinitrophenol is more acidic than 2,4 dinitrophenol as it is a symmetric compound. 4 nitrophenol is more acidic than 2 nitrophenol as it is attached at para position, which increases it's acidity.

when u connect the capacitor to a battery, then current will flow. one plate will get a +ive charge and the other gets a positive charge. calculate the potential of each plate. let charge on one plate be q. the charge on the other plate is -q. therefore the potentials of the individual plates will cancel out. therefore, the net potential will come out to be zero.

the potential difference of the battery is the potential of the two electrodes. it will remain constant.

Which way is the bus moving.

You also have to give reason to support ur answer. The bus can either move left or right and is not stationary.
