hi..as per my opinion you shud go for iitb becoz you can easily get jobs in company lyk wipro after passing frm iitb...!!but iitb chance isnt so easy to get...

hi..! sir,...honestly saying tht ism is known as minning school becoz ism was intiated with the branches minning and petro etc. in 1926...... later on as per need of these branches core branches were introduced... and nw a days these branches have very gud placements and all.....in 2001 mhrd wanted to convert this into iit but ism refused..but nw ism is in process of converting into iit...becoz core branches hv made very good place there.. :)

shivashish..!! first thing u are very lucky tht u got petro..u might know ism is no. 1 in india and no. 3 in world for EARTH SC. BRANCHES....so u need nt to worry at all...placements is asusual 100%,infrastructure and acedmics is very gud as its since 1926..

this deptt have 100% placement and this is unique in all over india..
and best thing is..you need not to study at all ;) .....and bydway you have fine chances to slide up...so dont leave it... cheers to be an iitian..

@shashinyr so sry,i dont know anything about it...but still according to me,creamylayer wont be considered because most of the reserved catagory ppls are out of creamylayer and all get selected...and hv thier seats..so cheers...
