Here are some tricks: 1] FOR REFLECTIONS, one line eqn will be give. Deduce slope by doing (-a)/b and the line containing the given point, i.e. the pt. whose reflection is to be found, will have slope -1 times that of the given line eqn. Find this line eqn and then solve the two found out line eqn for x and y. (x,y) will be the mid-pt. of the line passing through the given pt. and its reflection. Then just solve for the reflection.
2] Diagonals of a rhombus bisect each other at right angles, whereas for rectangles and regular parallelograms, the diagonals simply bisect each other. (HINT-Mid-point formula would be useful here.)
