Is the FIITJEE All India Test Series good for IIT-JEE?

Anybody who has written their tests, plz reply!...

But I'm unable to solve most JEE level problems for now, even though I've scored well in the boards. Thats why I've decided to take full-tests only after studying the JEE level theory.

I've made a schedule for this year & according to that I can finish the theory by the end of October. I will also be doing national part-tests & postal tests at these times.

So is it OK that I begin taking full-syllabus tests from December?

Coz I need to do the YG File questions during November/December. BT full-syllabus national tests start from December.

What is the optimum number of IIT-JEE mock tests that one should take with his preparation?

I'm talking about national sit-down tests & not home-based tests coz I'm already doing that. BT is providing 14 such tests this year. But my parents r not convinced. They're saying I need to do atleast 5 tests a week!

Please reply & tell me exactly what i have to do? I'm dropping a year & preparing for JEE 2009 through correspondence course along with HCV, ML Khanna.......etc

Have any of you heard about IIT graduates doing research in NASA?

if u are so determined that u r sure u will work really hard & won't get distracted again, then drop a year & give ur best shot at JEE.

If not, well, then its up to u.

If you are thorough with the concepts of JEE syllabus, then it is OK to attend college. If not, then join a coaching centre only.

I think FIITJEE or Resonance will do good. But you must always work hard wherever u join.

REMEMBER:- DO NOT WASTE A SINGLE MOMENT OF THIS YEAR IF YOU ARE ATTEMPTING JEE 2009!!

If someone wants to fulfil his dreams of getting into IIT, and he is ready to work hard for it, there is no need to think abt what others feel, however bad it is. Why let others control your destiny??

I read only a quarter or so of the book. It was too long and I was in 9th std, such topics didn't interest me much then!!!

the only way now is to get out of here. And when most of the bright people have gone out, the corrupted rulers MAY realize that its time for change.
i don't mean to offend anyone. I'm just saying that if we are to do anything, we have to try something new or innovative.
Not rallies or peaceful protests, coz they don't work like they used to anymore.

The situation is just like an Age of Empires game.

The politicians are in the iron age.
The people are still in the stone age. Even if we protest in large numbers, they would easily beat us.

What use in using a measure that we already know doesn't yield good results (rallies)?
I don't think rallies can have a serious effect rather than getting public attention to the issue.

And if you try to go one step further, the police are just gonna beat you up. How many people do you think will stand alongside you when the police open fire or start using water cannons & tear gas??

Believe me, I have seen such things a lot.

Himanshu is right. I assure you there is nothing we can do. We can only write stuff like these and its not going to make any difference in the real world.
