Group A: Civil,Chemical, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Electronics & Instrumentation. Group B: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics, Physics. Group C: Information Systems, General Studies, Engineering Technology, Finance. Source:Wikipedia In the assignment of dual degree, first priority is given to the students in Group B seeking a second degree under this scheme from amongst the programmes in Group A. After fully satisfying the known needs of the first priority, a second operation is done to consider the other priority, namely, students in any group seeking a second degree from amongst the programmes in another group. While it would be academically and procedurally acceptable for a student admitted in Group A or B programmes to seek a second degree in Group C in the dual degree scheme, the reverse process is not normally possible. However, a student admitted to Group C will be eligible to compete for dual degree for any degree of Group C or any degree in Group B or MMS only in Group A.

You should study to learn subjects and not to crack any particular exam. Now think and you will find the solution yourself. If you are unable to do that nudge me.

okay i give u the complete answer as I have researched about it a lot becoz even I am getting CSE in Hyd campus. Only ICFAITECH Dehradun is UGC approved.Hyderabad has applied for approval but still has not gotten it.Nobody knows when it shall be approved. SOURCE:UGC office on TELEPHONE I even talked to one senior of ICFAItech. Here is it for u all. He has gotten his degree from Dehradhun campus(although he was from ICFAItech Hyderabad campus) which was allowed as per former rules of UGC but now UGC rules have been changed which says that the campus from where u r getting degree i.e Dehradhun in this case should have completed minimum five years. So from 2006 batch, they offer diplomas and not degrees.Because of this 2006 batch of ICFAItech was quite angry with ICFAItech. But now HYD campus has applied for UGC approval and so 2006 batch has kept quiet.

See, I think u r talking abt 15% AIEEE quota in maharashtra colleges. For this u have to fill separate app form of AIEEE(MS) which by now u must have filled. These seats will come in our CAP(by dte maharashtra) and will not be filled in ccb counselling. In ccb counselling U can get NIT Nagpur for ur rank but its difficult to get a good branch there.Try for some good college in maharastra thru this 15% quota.

It is difficult to get CS in southern NITs.You can get CS in NIT-Surat but then you must be prepared for travelling again and again for long hours. As far as sliding is concerned and as far as I know, it is very difficult. You have to be topper in your class to do that. One Suggestion: Do Not Compromise On UR Branch For Good College. Plz Rate Me.

BVP isn't that gud.If travelling down to Thanjavur (Tamil Nadu) from Meerut isn't a problem for you, prefer SASTRA.

see i stay in nashik. mumbai and pune both are equidistant for me.I can compare the colleges available here in a better way. BVP is meant for NRIs or rich people.Yes really!!! Even if u don't give their exam still they may admit u if u throw money at them. Here it so happens that if u say u have done engg. from BVP,then people think that u r not so intelligent (even if u r) and have lots of money. So.......

I also feel it to be useless.Suppose u are offered a seat at IIIT Hyderabad in on campus counselling (just for example purpose) and u r getting a seat at IIT which u have already taken(as IIT counselling has already completed), will u take IIIT Hyd.Obviously no! as u will have to pay for the seat. Thus in on campus counselling there is a binding for u(money).Thats not the case with off campus counselling.Everybody including the ones getting into IIT will enroll themselves in this. So everything starts from 7th july only.
