oh-oh! coolyog u r perfectly right in ur statements but ur judgement of mine thinking frm mine statements r wrong..

yaa..i could not express clearly..i just want to give indication..that bits goa is nobody's first choice..rigtht now it owes imp. only due to bits word tag..i meant the similar thing that illuminati haz written..

noone should get overtaken by foreign lawrels ,assignments and collaborations..they r made bcoz bits haz money..thats the core truth man..why people prefer best nits,iit,and dce/nsit..although they don't have so much facilities..? not 2 mention u already know..

yaa.. bad habits can be entertained or practised anywhere i m not assignin that factor 2 bits goa..

i just want to suggest in CURRENT SCENARIO no ones' FIRST CHOICE is bits goa..thats it..and after 10 yrs bits hyderabad wd go ahead of bits goa and even bits pilani perhaps..bcoz there is tough educational scenario..

and @coolyog u r rite college matters.. iv seen pilani it is desert ..and campus also does not seem nice 2 eyez ..bcoz i m gettin dce compuers .. dce campus is gud..

but bits pilani haz something thats why companies also don't hesitate 2 go to desert!

u have gone too specificly by mine poor or ironical words -remote [ i meant ek kone main hain..] and no educational background [ no base of education there only entertaiment..but yaa bits haz again tried as it tried in pilani..and it wd be successful..]

and coolyog tumne baat ched hi di toh maine bata doon ..in goa people r more accesible or more chances to be active to be inclined

towards bad habits..! its an un argueable topic..

and last thing who is comparin bits goa with bits pilani now-a dayz only..r FOOLS in terms of common sense..srry for those who take it to heart..i just want to take out argue type agression..

according to bold truth...degree matters.. nahi goa ki chamak-damak ..naa its beutiful location..naa hyped hitec labs ..or naa hi its wonderful weather...how can bits goa compete its father bits pilani over 60 yrs old cllge of esteemed reputation..

no doubt bits goa haz value vecoz of bit pilani degree it haz got..

but acc. 2 me bits hyderabad wd go ahead in a shorter time..

bits goa can't be even compared with any of top 10 nit's ..now-a -dayz ,point to mention..

i don't digest why u ask and discuss so silly ques..

goa haz three main disadvantages..[bcoz of which parents don't give it a first choice]

1. goa is far away in remote area ,no educational background ..only tourist destination..oonly masti..

2. goa is new college ..why people won't prefer nits and other well-established institutions.

i hope iv made it clear no doubts

pref. order for every aspect shud be ur priority in branch and then gud degree wala cllge say..:-

iit>bits pilani>dce/nsit>top 5 nits>iiit's>other gud reputed govt. or private cllges under aieee>bits goa

maine itna sab isliye likha kyunki time paas karna tha or aur tum sabko sahi raha dekhana than..

rest everything is ur wish..

go only 4 nsit then nit warangal ,trichy and suruthkal and allahbad and no other nit..

what's ur rank? change depend upon closeness of rank 2 cut-off of particular branch

HEY xperts and friends ,i manage to get 488 rank in cee [nsit +dce] and 325 score ..my intuition says i cud get bits mech pilani [in last list] and computers or electronics or IT branch in dce[in 2nd list or so]

plz advise what should i do as career prospects r gud in both institutes ..i m confused b\w world-class name of BITS and good branch in dce[good environment and reputation]

campus life ,facilties,intellect do concern me

plz advise ..

what BEST i cud get in both institutes considering te factors like

1. no. of selections in iit frm delhi

2. toughness of paper of bits than bits 2006

3 best pverall personality development and salary packages

i wd suggest to go thru aieee and take admission in any of 5 nits ..

don't drop merely for iit,bcoz of drastic change in pattern of iit every year..

but if u realize ur potential and sincere and patient and heartedly determined to drop for much much better performance in aieee and bits[iit is uncertain] then i wd advise u for drop..

anyone plz tell one who has got and filled seat in bits with branch which is less preferred by him/her can get his preffered branch if at the time of last councelling list ,that [preffered] seat get vacant????

i found bits really much tuffer than bits 2006..level of questions has increased..

do u all [droppers and those who have knowledge] agree with me??

so bits cut-off shud decrease or remain more or less same due to increasing competition..!!??!

WELL SAID NAVEEN I ALSO WAZ GOIN 2 SAY THAT THIS TIME IIT WD LOSE SOME BRILLIANT PEOPLE ,NOT SOME BUT MANY IN HUNDREDS ..maine kise se discuss nahin kiya ,but mujhe pata tha aisa hi hona waala hai.. it's a great shock [without any electriacal]for those who were xpecting something ..but thanks i didn,t think of passing mine cut-off in maths ,that i preassumed that iwon't be selected.

arre ha...ann.. this time there r many ques.[almost whole paper].where answers cud be easily guessed frm options..this waz not the case in iit 2006[superb iit-level objective paper waz made,acc. 2 which we prepared and got ruined]
iit is playin pranks with us ..in name of avoidin strain 2 students,they have made such a cheap paper that jisne acchi preparation ki woh SHARMA jaye..
isleye deserving paper ka paper ganda hua..
there is no scandal IN RESULT,SCANDAL IS IN PAPER ITSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this shud be published in media so that deserving people r not ruined and iit paper setters's eyes to open..

it's all b'coz of eazy paper that our emotions got esteemed seein such a eazy paper..there waz some googliness goin on in stomach..bein too cautious i bcame unconscios ,seems to be with many brilliant sudents who really deserve ..
it feels as if iit is playing pranks with our mind
there is great variation and seems that it wd be too for aieee not that much b'coz of uniform marking..
