Use a standard HB pencil os that it does not leave a mark on paper. Also carry a soft eraser with you to correct any answers. However it would be best to be sure about what you are marking in the first place. You will save time

JEE has always been full of surprises. But remember it is same for everybody. So do not get tense during the examination because of this.

Hi Zamuka, Please do not stress yourself. Fever and other medical ailments might decrease your performance by 2-5% but not more. Just consult a good doctor and tell him. He will easily help you get rid of your fever at least during the examination time. Do not think much about your ailments. Take your mind off them and do light studies to gear up for your exam. Revision is always a good idea. But do not start studying any new topic at this stage

It depends on the individual. I personally found practicing with some tests at this stage very useful.

I would like to state the bare facts here to remove any confusions you guys might be facing.
1. Majority of engineers do not join core technical jobs in their respective branches and opt for fields like IT , Investment Banking etc. IITs develop you not just into engineers but much more.
2. Barring a few exceptions companies do not discriminate people on basis of their departments . The major discriminating factor are your grades and how well u performed.
3. You probably would not opt for higher studies or core technical choice unless you have a strong inclination towards your branch. Moreover it will be difficult for you to get good grades unless you cultivate interest in your studies. Hence if you do have a strong inclination towards any field choose that.
4. If not you should be opting for the institute which attracts the best companies and which adds maximum to your brand name and personality. Which in your particular case is IITD.

If you have strong inclination towards any particular branch then choose that. Else go for textile at IITD.

You can give the test anytime/any day after registering for it, even immediately if you want to. The test will run for 24 hours for the last two days.
