please help me ........its very urgent when a block of mass 2 kg rests on a rough inclined plane making an angle of 30 degree with the horizontal.coeff. of static friction is 0.7 the frictional force on the block is.....
in the book the answer is given as 0.7 x 9.8. x ?3
but i think that since the static frictional force is variable and sice the block is at rest it should balance the force mgsin? therefore it should be equal to mgsin? = 2 x 9.8 x 1/2 = 9.8

i think physics was really very very tough, much tougher than aieee half of my time was wasted in physics alone n i did nt get the time to do maths and could only attempt 15 questions of maths
