Keep studying them. And try to byheart them.Revise them as often as you can. And always study in a positive mood =)You can try and look into the mechanisms for better understanding too
Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Physical Chemistry -> how can we say that 1 mole of an ideal gas occupies 22.4 litres . Gases fill the containers they are -> Go to message
This Post 4 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 2 votes )   [?]
If we put it in a container, the pressure will changeTherefore by using PV = nRT we will get the new pressure of the gas (since volume will be volume of the container)In vacuum, P=0, so V will be infinity. We say 1 mole occupies 22.4 litres at NTP (here Temperature and Pressure is specified and are constants at NTP) So, we can calculate Volume easily using PV = nRTI hope that helped =)

If nitrogen used p orbitals for bonding, how would you expect the dipole moments of ammonia and nitrogen trifluoride to compare?

Also, are Van Der Waals forces just momentary induced dipole forces caused by non polar molecules?

I think it is done this way

sin^-1(cosx)
=sin^-1(sin(pi/2 - x))
=pi/2 -x
nw integrating this, we get

x*pi/2 - x^2 /2 + c
