Thats not entirely true thanx to kota and quota. I had gone to iit counselling this yr and almost evry1 i askd was frm kota except 1 who had done fiitjee locally . Many were droppers . They didnt strike me as the cream of the country for sum reason and wer unrefind in der language and behaviour. As for building ur personality , ths can done in any good coll with a hostel as u have oodles of free time and if u spend it rghtly u ll emerge a bettr person. Tho in iit and elsewer 2 , some ppl tend 2 stick 2 lan gaming

It all depends on ur interests. Programming is not dat hard but most ppl jus cant get the hang of it.

U may get duals in BITS Pilani Goa campus which is better than NIT Allahabad coz the end degree is of BITS Pilani and the campus and facilities are amazing there

Hey man dont get so ahead of urself.U ll have loads of time to prepare after 10th. Right now just make sure your maths is upto the mark. English 2 coz it ll help in bitsat. Also ur drawing skills for AIEEE Paper 2

Arre y are so obssessed wid iits ? Tell me why do u think it is the promised land? Since you dont want anything else, take a drop and join some good classes. Be prepared for failure 2 coz droppers 2 dont always get good ranks .Also for any course in any iit u need top 5000 rank and here too I am being extremely liberal here.else u only get IT-BHU or ISMU which are not IITs. Also some of the new IITs are also not upto the mark with only the iit tag acting as their plus point.

Sit at home if u wanna give jee 2010 and are sure u ll get around 1000-2000 rank coz below dat u wont get good branches. Else BITS is the best option .Dual degrees have an element of risk. You may get a good branch if u try fr goa campus tho u cant do nythin now.

Hey If JEE 2010 is your only aim , bits mite not be such a good idea coz its tough academically coz of its continous evaluation system. Although if you are gettin BITS Pilani , I dont think you should be thinkin of jee 2010 coz thats a hit or miss affair .ALso BITS is also rated a very good college almost on par with iits except the brand name which is also not far behind iits as coachin classes would like us to believe

BITS obviously. No other choice of yours even comes close.And you have a decent bitsat score too . If interested in research try some of the eml colleges. but for chem/ civil ,try BITS PILANI any campus you get. RATE ME!

try for nit nagpur.Also try to get in mumbai college thru their 15% aieee quota.U ll get better colleges this way (MHT-CET colleges i mean). Rate me
