hey for that magnification to be 3/2 then the convex lens must be placed greater than 2f from object let the distance from 2f be x now this screen will be f+x from screen now put this in magnification formula and then 2f+x+f+x =80 thats all 2 equations 2 unknowns the shortcut here is that u never considered the second case of magnification think abt it!!!!

hey  consider the flux as a sine function then the emf is a cos function due to faradays law by differentiation as emf is 0 then cos function is 0 which means sine function is 90 then flux has its max value no thats the answer!!!

hey there are two reasons
one that magnetic poles and geographic poles do not coincide
the other being  that the earth is a effective magnet made up of small tiny dipoles now due to constantly changing conditions in the core of earth the pole position keeps changing slightly and therefore you should always say only between 0 and 90!!!

Yes it is C on P with a configuration of 3s2 3p3 can have an expanded octect occupying electrons in the D orbital!!!others dont even have a d orbital!!

FIRST put 1-X as T and then put 1-1/t as Y^2 and then solve the linear/quadratic thats easy

nways you need not always formula i feel derivation makes maths more enjoyable am i rite madness(sandeepramesh)!!!!

the earth is not a flat surface as you consider for a projectile motion the mistake we do is that all those formulas are acceptable only for a short range distance and not for missile projection the angle with which  it is launched depends on the angle of dip and declination at that place!!!!

i a normal medium ie pH =7 an amino acid will exist as a zwitter ion when pH<7 then basically the solvent is more acidic and the amino acid behaves more of a base and NH3+ exists where as when pH>7 the solvent is basic and thus the amino acid behaves a s an acid and COO- exists!!!now understood!!!!

for problems in volving the reactivity of the aldehyde group consider open structure only when there is an ambiguity go for the cylic one !!!!
(like schiff test and melting point and all)

still confused??? follow NCERT text!!!

i think these books would prove damn useful to you

a>HC Verma
b>Arihant
c>JPNP

be thorough with all sign conventions

check specific questions like cutting the lens and placing them at different height

dependence of focal lenght on various factors

sums on diffraction

YDSE

i feel these could make you atleast 75% thorough!!!

my interpretation of it is that any 2 degree equation can be expressed as a product of 2 1degree equations similarly a curve can be expressed as 2 straight lines wrt to a point on the plane emerging from that part point which makes various problems much simpler for solving as you would have seen in arihant book
