i have rank 171. i have no idea whatsoever regarding each branch

bits pilani is not too costly (abt same as hiked iit fees). its reputation is so gud that u should seriously consider goin there. lots of student loans are available.

who said u have to stay with engg? u can opt for iist at trivandrum. or the various iisers. they are pretty gud too. becoz i think that u can get no gud branch in iit. which can spoil ur future.

everyone please stop. stop being pessimistic. an awful rank in jee is not gonna be a stamp on you for the rest of ur lives. only future performance count.s. so whichever branch u join, whichever college u choose, be sure to work diligently. remember hard work is always rewarded.

some of you may have awsome ranks and some maynot.
so the awsome rankers may please keep their mouths shut. cultivate emphathy. dont harass the awful rankers. no one is great. it is all a matter of luck and maybe the gud fortune of having been able to perform well in the d day.

Now that the AIR's are out, how do you guys feel?
Many of you may be cursing yourselves for not having performed well and atleast some of you might be on cloud nine for unexpected results
Whatever may be your result, be sure of doing one thing-never gloat over it. You may have got fantastic rank but do not get elevated beyond limit.
Some unlucky few may not have made it. Just remember, god has a plan for each of you. You may be deemed to succeed not in engg. So be satisfied with ur ranks. Pursue what u got. work hard. Even in a bad engg college, hard work pays off.....

so stop being moody. get up and enjoy life. cheers.
