there is no such question as leaving a particular topic or such this is not a board exam for them to purely test you in a particular concept the questions will be a mixed type involving all kinds of concepts!!!!

avoid this misconception!!!

try to like calculus and you can always master it for it is there right in front of you waitting for you to enjoy the success in doing it

happy time doing calculus!!!!

as Hash include has stated it is impossible for a geostationary satellite to be placed anywhere other than directly above the equator then only both will have the same time period and angular velocity other wise the path of the satellite being circular and that of earth decreasing in radius as we approach the poles causes time lag

as for additional info

hash include is an ace in the field of physics my best friend.he has never made a mistake what material have you referred???

one small correction when it is a stong base elimination takes place and there is less room for substitution

SN2 is preferred by substrates which are less sterically hindered in their transition state (preferred when B carbonyl group is there especially)

SN1 is preferred by those whose carbocations are highle stable!!!
thats all!!!

for that use valence bond theory ie first write the configguration of the central ion or metal and the according to crystal field splitting and spectrochemical series check whether pairing will take place if so then pair up the electrons and  use the empty d orbitals and the next or previous s and p for hybridisation

complexs are formed due to synergic effect!!!!
any further doubt, i would be pleased to answer!!!

a group like SH3 can never exist as  suphur being more electronegative than hydrogen only H2S is known!!!!

Constitutional isomerism refers to the number kind and connectivity of atoms in an organic molecule the way in which atoms are bonded to each other in a single molecule

types

1>chain
- branching
eg: n-butane and isobutane

2>position
-position of functional group
eg:1chloro propane and 2 chloro propane

3> functional isomerism
 - change in functional group without change in number of atoms and its species
eg:alchols and ether

there is even ring chain isomerism too try for yourself that!!! and metamerism etc!!!

in general to the posts made above

there is also an imp case to be considered
in the case of a chlorohydrin also
gauche >staggered >eclipsed

here reason is due to dipolar interaction between chlorine and OH group!!!

these are certain imp reactions you need to be sure of !!!!

illustrate using examples these named reactions
1> bergius reaction
2> pthalien reaction
3>Mulliken Barker reaction
4> strecker's synthesis
5>EOSIN
6>Darzen
7>Sommelet
8>Vilsmeir formylation
9>Zeisel's method
plz post your answers and lemme know what you dunno so that i can post the answers for those reactions lets start!!!! i hope this will be useful for everybody!!!

i have a doubt can anyone justify why time period of oscillation should be constant everywhere??? and what is the logical reason which you can account for change in length in some where with diff acc due to gravity???i dont understand this part!!!
