thats a nice topic you have created.....and i think it does deserve a lot of attention from the outgoing batch ( which includes me )

sad to say that i haven't cleared.....but if you still like some advice, here is a piece of it:

try you best to avoid predictions. this is something very important i learnt out of writing the JEE twice. i dropped the year thinking that the experience i gained out of writing it once would give me an edge and tried to unneccessarily predict certain aspects of the question paper. this proved to be my biggest undoing, as my attempts itself were simply not enough.

it doesn't matter if it is coming out of a FIIT-JEE or KOTA or any other run-of-the-mill place, there is always a chance that predictions can go wrong ( most people who have appeared for JEE 2007 will agree to that )

i wish best of luck to all the upcoming aspirants and hope they don't get caught flat-footed like us.

you can't sue them yaar.....it is given in the contract that any dispute about anything cannot be taken to the court and the decision of the CBSE board is final......

therefore, it is matter of taking justice into our own hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree with vidur99. NCERT based questions does give an undeniable advantage to the people who stick to the NCERT syllabus.

this year's jee has been quite different ( to say the least )........ the cut-off can't actually be predicted........and this fact has been repeated more than once in this site by it's administrators........

i guess there is nothing wrong in being comfortable, but i just hope you don't take your JEE result for granted and mess up the upcoming entrance exams.....
