2) physics = DC Pandey (buy the whole series)
3) Organic = OP Agarwal
physical = P Bahadur
Inorganic = NCERT

HC Verma was a good book sometime ago but it was not JEE oriented , since those early times people have been reading HC Verma so its has become a trend to recommend HC Verma to ppl although its not a JEE oriented book and since a large part of people say its a good book a student starts to believe so but now the times have changed and there are better books in the market which are highly JEE oriented and have simple language(contrary to HCV) and well aimed problems.One such effort has been made by Arihant publishers.....the DC Pandey books of arihant are the best in my opinion to study physics ,I used them only for my preparations.Buy the whole series.

IIT people have totally gone mad. On one hand they are applying reservations to such an extent and on the other hand they are talking the above quoted shit. x-(
