I used 2 love maths and get really good marks in it last year.I finished all d course in Dec when I decided 2 devote my time 2 other subjects which i'm weak in.al thru dec, jan, march i did phy & chem.even 4 board exams, i prepared 4 maths only the day b4 but solved all the Q rightly.in short, i cud afford 2 b overconfident then.Now however, i've lost touch completely.basic concepts are not clicking me and the tough Q which i used 2 solve so easily b4 make me sweat.no doubt, with some effort, i'll be able 2 regain touch, but in such a short time?plz advise me what exactly on how i shld revise and from where? In maths, u build up concepts by solving probs, right?so,how can i read maths?

I think u shld use Solomons 4 theory and fiitjee's RSM 4 probs.Also, Arihant 4 more probs.These 3 r more than enough.

Have u heard anything about CREATIVE VISUALIZATION?its a phenomenal concept and it can make miraculous things happen to you.Just imagine and visualize that u've really passed ur boards and cleard jee as well.put all ur focus and generate positive vibrations about it.by fretting about ur mistakes and calling urself a failure ur actually putting all ur energies into really getting failure. Remember, life's not that bad and what happens, happens 4 good.OK, suppose u really fail ur boards and waste one year.SO WHAT?its surely not the end of life..it just means that life wants you to have something better!Concentrate on JEE coz that'll boost ur confidence. Just one more Quote: Success rarely depends upon how high u r, it depends upon how high u rise after sinking so low... Plz tell me the extent to which u need to study Sommerfield extention (elliptical orbits)and Schrodinger rule 4 iit and aieee and what type of problems come from these topics?

hey, 143 was just a coincidence as reported by TOI, a spoof article, i think. u even had some people getting 55% or something and not qualifying.. Actually, as far as i've read, iit itself has not been able to explain correctly how they arrived at the cut-off they had explained!

hey, u r droppin an year, so why think about aieee?u've had so much time, start preparing afresh 4 iit.and don't set store much by results and stuff.when you work 4 a goal right till d end, there's no way u don't achieve it. and the limited amount of topics that u've prepared won't be sufficient 4 aieee as well.so try and cover more topics like organic, conic, etc

Can any1 plz explain exactly how LiAlH4, NaBH4 and H2/Ni and Lindlar's catalyst reduce substances differently?and to what extent? -when there are double bonds+carbonyl groups? -when they are in conjugation? -in rings?(heterocyclic) This is really basic but i'm confused!

Yeah, i think NCERT's more than enough.You can't afford going into detailed study now.Also, if you've mastered Physical and Organic thoorughly, then there's no need 4 Tondon.there's too much given in there...

I don't think there's any need 4 11th std books; they rarely ask from them.You should go through the sanctioned textbooks like Narendra, sheth, Phadke,etc and read every single thing like examples and stuff. They only give Q's from sanctioned tb, so mind you go through all of them. P.S Personally, I'm going to prepare 4 it after 27th

I've referred Solomons all through the last year.Now, however i'm feelin that i've 4gotten everything.I've also solved fiitjee's RSM on organic which are nothing but precise and acute summaries of Solomons.Its said that most of iit's organic Q's come from Solomons.plz tell me whether i should try revising Solomons now or revising RSM's will do? I'm confused and insecure...
