yeah i meant for the carbon atoms present in the ring...for only cyclic compounds.

then you cannot apply it for compounds which contain  carbon atom/s attached to the ring..

yes the compounds which contain carbon atoms that are sp3 hybridised are non-planar.

take ex-1 = t2 then exdx=2tdt. Therefore dx=2t dt/ ex = 2t dt/(t2+1).

Now integral is

now to the numerator add 1 and subtract 1 and it becomes

integral[ (t^2+1) dt/(t^2 +1)] and the second one is -integral[dt/(t^2+1)]

now you can solve it:

int[dt] - tan-1(t)

now substitue the value of t back in the eqn

just keep on practicing problems continously, once you have mastered the easy and medium level ones,go on to the touh ones..

and remember you can be confident not overconfident so to ensure that keep revising your concepts and also when you try to solve something, set a time limit so that you can improve and work on your weaknesses.

A uniform thin rod of mass M and length L is standing vertically along the y-axis on a smooth horizontal surface, with its lower end at the origin(0,0).Aa slight disturbance at time=0 causes the lower end to slip on the smooth surface along the positive axis, and the rod starts falling.

Find the equation of the trajectory of a point P on the rod located at a distance 'r' from the lower end

Saytzeff's rule does state that when a mixture of alkenes is produced the one which is formed in major quantity will be the one in which the double bond carbon is more substituted,i.e. it has more alkyl groups in place of hydrogen.

Dehydrobromination of 2-bromo-2-methylpentane with DBU generates products in accordance with Zaitsev's rule.
