in a family  pati , patni and woh contested for post of family head. all the people of the city voted and all the votes were valid. the loser(the one having last rank) got 30% of the votes. if it is known that each of them got integral percentage of vote , then what could be the minimal margin of vote by which the winner defeated his/her nearest rival.

and one of the option is - it cannot be determined

thnx

for the first question

the unit digit of 171983 is same as unit digit of 71983

so 171983 - 71983-111983

=-111983  (the last digits of 171983 - 71983 = 0, as they are same)

now if 1 is a unit digit  then no matter what's the power it is raised to, it will be 1 only.

so the last digit is 1.
