Let n be the number of drops...Then their total surface area is  4nr2.  And their total  volume  will 4/3*nr3. The volume of the larger drop will also be the same...if its radius is R, we have.

4/3R3=n4/3r3. -->  R3=nr3

The energy released by the decrease in the total surface area causes the rise in temperature.

Energy(E)=surface tension *decrease in area=t*(4nr2 -4R2 )

Rise in temp=E/(4/3R3 *c)

Pls rate if satisfactory...

Cheerio
