Branch is great the only thing is it is very very difficult branch and most of the guys slide a branch lower or jump a branch higher in order to avoid taking electrical..

See dude you may get into NIT but as far as i know in my college there are hardly 2 or 3 seats for students from delhi ,,, but dont worry i have read from some other thread on this site that the system of state quata is being abloished from this year...

If this istrue then the system would be completely changed.............

Dude last year thapar counslling for outside punjab ppl got over at 15500 ..

See rank seems to be low but dont loose heart you can always go for some college like AMIty they r quite good and reputed..

But amity has its own selection procedure..

Also u can apply to IPTG gujarat (good for petroleum enfgineering( as it is a new college so over there cutt of is not so high but prospects are quite good..
