hey is it tht lens always contain 2 spheres of same radius????i don't thnk so...it may or may nt contain 2 spheres of same radiusi.i radius can be diiferbt too.......

hey...i thnk tht its a very gu rule......most useful in findng the deflection of the mag needle....

SNOW-----if the current is flowng in a wire frm SOUTH 2 NORTH which is placd over a mag compas then the needle of the compas wil deflect towrds west...i.e

S----SOUTH(DIR OF CURRENT)
N---- NORTH
O----OVER (THE LOCATION OF THE CURRENT CARYNG WIRE)
W---WEST (DEFLECTION)


SO NW U CAN EASILY FIND THE DEF OF THE NEEDLE IN ANY CASE,,,,i must say its a very handy rule...

see ...in first case P & V is given so take out the resistance of the bulb usng the formula P = V^2 / R ..............NW IN THE 2ND CASE V IS GIVEN (200 ) ND R WE HAV TAKEN OUT .... SO NW TAKE OUT THE P CONSUMD BY THE BULB USNG THE FORMULA V^2/ R.........

lets clear why the image is approchng the body at double its speed.....


 


in the diagram earlier the image of the body ws 100 m away frm the body(50 +50)...


 


but nw the image is only 96 m away frm the body (48 +48)...


tht is it is approchng the body at 100 - 96 = 4 m per second.......

basically flint glass is lead oxide optical glass wid HIGH REFRACTION nd low dispersion.........

whereas crown glass is a soda lime glass which is exceptionally hard nd clear nd has LOW REFRACTION nd low dispersion.....
