Asking to define charges is something like asking to define mass?

It is one of the universal mysteries of physics? "What actually is Charge?"

Though charge is defined in many ways: "something by the virtue of which a particle tends to interact electrically with some other particle with propertyof same kind"...."intrinsic property of fundamental particles which gives rise to electrical interactions and thus all electrical phenomena"

But physically no one knows what is charge. If we define charge with respect to electron, proton etc then there are charges on components of these particles also.

So ultimately the question comes what is charge BAsically?

Charge has not been Defined Explicitly...

There is a law in Electromagnetic Induction which strictly adheres to the law of conservation of energy( that energy can never be created can never be destroyed). This is known as Lenz's law. If in any em induction this law gets violated we say that Prpetual motion can be made now out of that induction process. But yet nobody has found such thing , I mean no violation of the principle of conservation of energy has been observed till date.

Mr. McCarty challenges the physics which has been worked out for last many centuries.

"perpetual motion machine"

Newton declares that it is a foolish trial to think of producing perpetual motion.

he commented

"those searching for perpetual motion are trying to get something from nothing"

what Is THIS??

it is such a machine that can produce at least as much energy as it consumes, so that once it has been set running it can continue indefinitely.

is it POSSIBLE??

SEAN Mc Carthy ,40 of Docklands in Dublin

claimed to have created such a machine

he advertised it in afullpage Advertisement on THE ECONOMIST, THE TIMES (LONDON) reports .

It is said to be an all magnet motor looking like a grandfather clock without its pendulum.

Search for perpetual motion is a heresy of sientists. Perpetual mation is contrary to the doctrine

it disregsrds the 1ST law of Thermodynamics

butttttt

Mc has said the Europian police forces fighting fraud "If I am proved wrong this company is out of business and I will never work in this town again."

he has selected a panel of qualified and cynical scientists to test his engine

if he is correct then be ready to see him recieving the Nobel prize next year.

no body has seen it yet the clues are only we know

he says it is so because of the fraudsters and misguided

BrahMos is designed to be able to attack surface targets at as low an altitude as 10 meters and a speed of Mach 2.8, with a maximum range of 290 km[1]. The ship-launched and land-based missiles have a 200 kg warhead, while the aircraft-launched variant (BrahMos A) has a 300 kg one. It has a two-stage propulsion system, with a solid-propellant rocket for initial acceleration and a liquid-fuelled ramjet responsible for sustained supersonic cruise. Air-breathing ramjet propulsion is much more fuel-efficient than rocket propulsion, giving the BrahMos a longer range than a pure rocket-powered missile would achieve.

The high rate of speed of this missile gives it a capability for higher kinetic energy damage versus that of slower cruise missiles such as the Tomahawk.

Although BrahMos is an anti-ship missile, it has the capability to engage land based targets. The missile can be launched either in a vertical or inclined position and is capable of covering targets over a 360 degree horizon. The BrahMos missile has identical configuration for land, sea and subsea platforms. The air-launched version has a smaller booster and additional tail fins for added stability during launch. The missile is currently being configured for aerial version with Su-30MKI as its carrier.

Technical specifications:

* Length 8.4 m
* Diameter 60 cm
* Launch Weight 3.000 kg
* Warhead 300 kg conventional semi-armour piercing warhead
* Range 290 km
* Propulsion Two-stage integrated rocket/ramjet concept

actually we use it 2 determine direction of induced emf ( or current) while it is the case of motional emf ( means not flux linked emf )
* do as following:
+ see the loop
+ see the direction of magnetic field(forget of the changes now)
+ forget again that the changes in flux is there
+ now try 2 find direction of current in the loop if it were 2 create that mag field
+ this direction is +ve X
+ if flux is decreasing , emf & current in +ve X
+ if flux increases emf& current in opposite

this is 1 basic behind Lenz's law
there are many
above is very useful

for M/a=N/x, the bridge is said to be balanced .
Dr Verma says
"as there is no current through the galvanometer ,the potential difference across the terminals is zero"
Now as they are at same potential we can join them and think them to be one point . but the equivalent resistance in two combinations are not equal .
why so?
is the statemant fully apt?

wheatstone bridge:

in a balanced wheatstone bridge, as Dr Verma says
"as there is no current through the galvanometer ,the potential difference across the terminals is zero"
Now in the circuit as the two points ar at same  potential ,then we can join the ponts and let them to b  same points ,, but the equivalent resistance n the two conditions is not equal . why is it so? Is the statement fully apt?
